Miss Cichanski and Mr. Martin plan Oct. rites

Mark and Mariellen Cichanski Sr. of Boardman are announcing the engagement and upcoming wedding of their daughter, Mary Jo Cichanski, and Joel Michael Martin, son of Linda Martin of Akron and the late Michael Martin.

The couple will exchange vows Oct. 2 at St. Patrick Church in Ohio City, Cleveland, during an open ceremony. Invitations will be issued for an evening reception at the Cleveland Marriott Downtown at Key Center.

The future bride graduated from John Carroll University with a bachelor’s degree in English. She obtained a juris doctorate from the Cleveland Marshall College of Law. Miss Cichanski is a program manager with Sure- Site Consulting Group in Beachwood, Ohio.

The prospective groom graduated from John Carroll University with a bachelor’s degree in communications and is a provider relations manager with Hospice of the Western Reserve in Lorain County.
