UPDATE | City's 16th homicide victim of 2015 is ID'd

YOUNGSTOWN — Police say a 16-year-old male found shot to death on the South Side Wednesday evening is the city's 16th homicide of 2015.

The victim, Devon Bailey, was an East High School student, school officials said. Grief counselors are available at the school today.

Officers found Bailey at about 8:35 p.m. dead from a gunshot wound at a Cohasset Drive home.

In 2014, Youngstown had 19 homicides.
