H&M to open in Eastwood today

H&M will open a new 20,000-square-foot store on Eastwood Mall’s Center Court at noon today .

The first 200 shoppers in line will be eligible for giveaways worth up to $300.

Those who bring in a bag of unwanted clothes to donate to charity before the opening will be able to enter to win a gift card valued up to $250.

H&M has fast-fashion clothing for men, women, teens and children.

The first H&M store opened in Sweden in 1947. It is ranked as the world’s second-largest clothing retailer, with more than 3,500 stores in 53 countries and more than 132,000 employees.

The Eastwood Mall Complex is at 5555 Youngstown-Warren Road.

An H&M location opened in Southern Park Mall, 7401 Market St., Boardman, on April 30.

About 200 customers waited outside the store until it opened. The Southern Park location is about 19,000 square feet.
