Teachers' union has info session on Youngstown schools takeover Thursday

YOUNGSTOWN — Educators, parents, students and community members will learn more about the impact of the Youngstown Plan, a law that sets up the takeover of Youngstown City Schools and appointment of a schools chief executive officer from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at McGuffey Elementary School, 310 S. Schenley Ave.

The event is a summit organized by the Ohio Education Association, the teachers’ union.
