Hubbard man faces drug charges

GIRARD — A Hubbard man was arraigned Monday in Girard Municipal Court on felony charges of possession of heroin and possession of schedule I and II drugs.

Liberty police responded to Walmart on Goldie Road on Friday for a report of theft. After searching a woman's purse, police found Oxycodone pills and a small amount of suspected heroin, according to a police report.

Jonthan Hapcic, 40, of Hubbard told police the pills and heroin belonged to him rather than to the woman, the report states.
