Cortland Banks opens new branch
CANFIELD
Cortland Banks on Tuesday announced the opening of its newest Mahoning County branch at 3615 Boardman-Canfield Road. This location is the bank’s 13th.
The new facility, on the former Goldsteins Furniture Outlet site at the corner of Tippecanoe and Boardman-Canfield Road, was constructed by The Murphy Contracting Co. of Youngstown.
Ed Jakubick and Tim Sexton, of the ES Jakubick & Associates and Sexton & Associates Architects Inc., firms of Cortland, provided architectural services for the bank.
The full-service branch will house mortgage, commercial, retail and wealth- management services.
Ribbon-cutting set

The Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber will have a ribbon-cutting at 10 a.m. Wednesday at The Mocha House, 467 High St.
The Mocha House is open from 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday. For information, visit www.mochahouse.com.

U.S. Rep. Tim Ryan of Howland, D-13th, has urged Jeffrey Immelt, chairman and chief executive officer of Fairfield, Conn.-based General Electric, to reconsider Cincinnati and Ohio for its corporate headquarters.
