Campbell students short film to be part of Sept. 29 film festival
CAMPBELL — A team of Campbell Memorial High School students submitted a short film that will be part of a 6:30 p.m. Sept. 29 film festival.
The OK Inc. third regional Friends4Friends Campaign film festival will be at Austintown Fitch High School. Campbell Memorial’s Peer Leadership Council team’s film, titled, “A Life Altering Leap,” inspires students to stand up and speak out against teen suicide.
The nine short films at the festival were created by local students and address major issues facing youth today.
Voting for the best short film is open to the public and will begin at 12:01 a.m. Wednesday. Visit OK Inc.’s YouTube Channel to like a favorite short film. The film with the most “likes” will win the 2015 Friends4Friends Short Film Award.
