“Dancing With the Stars” (8 p.m., ABC): Usually, we like to wager on who will win the glitzy mirror-ball trophy. But for Season 21, we’re betting big money that a crazed, out-of-control Gary Busey will either eat it or snap it over his knee after being eliminated early in the season. Meanwhile, spastic judge Bruno Tonioli will be rendered speechless for the first time ever. Take it to the bank.

“So You Think You Can Dance” (8 p.m., Fox): They finally will name this season’s winner of “So You Think You Can Dance” – but not before two hours of mind-numbing bloat. So you think you can last?

“American Experience: WALT DISNEY” (8 p.m., PBS): The two-part “American Experience: Walt Disney” reveals, among other things, that kindly Uncle Walt had a dark side. Clearly, it’s the side that inflicted the song “It’s a Small World” upon us.

“American Ninja Warrior” *(8 p.m., NBC): The seventh season concludes.

“Dancebattle America” (10 p.m., ABC): Because there’s just not enough dancing on TV.

Toastmasters contest winner

YOUNGSTOWN

Ed Haller had a double win at the Youngstown Toastmasters table topics and humorous speech contests Aug. 31. The Warren man took first place in both contests. Last year, he was the club champion in international speech and competed in the divisional contest.

Miki Thomas of Youngs-town took second place in the table topic contest, while Adam Kocjancik of Boardman took second in humorous speech.

First- and second-place winners advance on to the Area 13 competition in Fairlawn on Tuesday.

In the table topics speech contest, the contestants had a couple of minutes to respond to a question that is not known beforehand. In humorous speech, contestants present their funny side in the format of a speech.
