Elderly man reported missing from Youngstown nursing home

YOUNGSTOWN — Police have issued a missing persons report for Larrimore Snipes, 72, of Youngstown. An administrator at Danridge Nursing Home on Maranatha Drive on the city's East Side told police Snipes hasn’t been since he left the home about 1:45 a.m. this morning.

The administrator said a family member had signed Snipes out of the home about 7:30 p.m. Sunday and that Snipes had returned to the home briefly at 1:30 a.m. today before he left again. Larrimore is black, 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs 148 pounds. He was last seen wearing tennis shoes and jeans with a red shirt, brown jacket and blue baseball cap.

Snipes may need medical attention. Anyone with information about his whereabouts should call 911 or the Attorney General Missing Persons Unit at 1-866-693-9171.
