2 enter guilty pleas before trials begin

YOUNGSTOWN — Two people entered guilty pleas today in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court on the day the trials in their cases were to begin.

Colin Anzevino, 21, of Snyder Avenue in Struthers, entered a guilty plea to a charge of aggravated burglary before Judge Shirley J. Christian for his role in an April home invasion in Struthers.

Prosecutors are recommending a prison sentence of eight years. Sentencing has not been set.

Tiffany Green, 20, no address available, entered a guilty plea before Judge Lou A. D’Apolito to a charge of aggravated robbery with a firearm specification. Prosecutors are recommending a sentence of six years in her case. Sentencing also has not been set.
