SENIOR CITIZENS

AARP 4611 East will meet Wednesday at St. Augustine Episcopal Church, 614 Parmelee Ave., Youngstown. A board meeting will begin at 11 a.m., and the general meeting will follow at noon. July, August and September birthdays will be celebrated. There will be a 50-50 raffle, and refreshments will be served. Members are asked to take school supplies. Guests and new members are welcome. Croatian Pensioners will have a fall festival at noon Thursday at the Croatian Center. A buffet will be served. The cost is $9 for members and $10 for guests. For reservations or information, call 330-793-3458.

Girard Old Timers will meet at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday for a luncheon meeting at Lamancusa Restaurant.

Keenagers of Third Baptist Church will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Members are asked to attend to make plans for upcoming activities.

Liberty 55-Plus Club will meet at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at First Christian Assembly Church on Cardinal Drive in Liberty. LeeAnn Martyak will preside. Hostesses are Jennie Morosko, Dolly Rebreca and Betty Sferra. There will be a 50-50 raffle and September birthdays will be acknowledged.

OBES Retirees will meet for lunch at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Perkins Restaurant, Route 224 in Boardman. All OBES retirees are welcome.

S.O.A.R. Chapter 1-28-10, Retirees of Local 2243 U.S.W.A. Copperweld Steel Co., will have its regular monthly meeting at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Windsor House Champion Estates, 235 Champion Ave. E. State Rep. Michael J. O’Brien will be the speaker. Refreshments will be served. Guests are invited to attend.
