EVIAN CHAMPIONSHIP

EVIAN-LES-BAINS, FRANCE

South Korea’s Mi Hyang Lee kept the lead in stormy conditions Saturday in the Evian Championship, and New Zealand teenager Lydia Ko remained in contention to become the youngest player to win a major. Lee shot 1-under 70 to reach 10-under 203. American Lexi Thompson was a stroke back after a 66. Lee was paired with Morgan Pressel (71), and they went toe to toe until the par-4 18th hole, when the American made a double bogey after hitting her second shot in water.

WALKER CUP

LYTHAM ST ANNES, ENGLAND

Jimmy Mullen and Gavin Moynihan each earned two points to help Britain and Ireland take a 7-5 lead over the United States in the Walker Cup matches Royal Lytham and St Annes. Mullen teamed with Ashley Chesters to beat Maverick McNealy and Hunter Stewart 3 and 2 in morning foursomes, then topped Denny McCarthy 2 up in the afternoon singles.

HOTEL FITNESS CHAMPIONSHIP

FORT WAYNE, IND.

South Korea’s D.H. Lee shot a 6-under 66 to take a three-stroke lead over India’s Anirban Lahiri in the Web.com Tour Finals-opening Hotel Fitness Championship. Lee had seven birdies and a bogey to reach 15-under 201. He finished 15th on the Web.com Tour regular-season money list to earn a 2015-16 PGA Tour card and is playing the four-event series in a bid to improve his tour priority status.

KLM OPEN

ZANDVOORT, NETHERLANDS

England’s Lee Slattery and Spain’s Rafa Cabrera-Bello each shot 7-under 63 to share the third-round lead in the KLM Open. Cabrera-Bello had an eagle, six birdies and bogey on the front nine, then parred the final nine hole at Kennemer. Slattery, the Russian Open winner last week, also had an eagle, six birdies and a bogey to reach 16-under 194. Scotland’s Paul Lawrie was a stroke back, also after a 63.
