MYCAP taking energy-assistance applications

Mahoning-Youngstown Community Action Partnership will continue to complete winter-hearing applications Mondays through Thursdays at its Youngstown location, 1325 Fifth Ave., and Thursdays in Sebring at 306 N. Texas Ave.

Weatherization and energy-assistance applications also can be completed at the time of appointment.

Appointments are scheduled through the interactive voice-response system at 866-223-1125 for either the Sebring or Youngstown offices.

Required documentation includes photo identification of all individuals age 18 and older in the household; documentation of disability for disabled individuals; Social Security cards for all household members; any income to the household for the past 90 days (if employment ended in that time frame, documentation that states employment also is needed); current gas and electric bills or a bulk-fuel receipt.
