Babyaks honored on golden anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Babyak of Boardman celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Aug. 9 during a family vacation at Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.

The couple’s family includes their children, Vickie Davis, Kristie (Joe) DePascale and Rick (Reba) Babyak, and their grandchildren, Aaron and Katie Davis; Melanie, Anthony and Jason DePascale; and Andrew and Noah Babyak.

Mrs. Babyak is the former Bonnie Taylor. She is retired from Bank One, where she worked for 18 years as administrative assistant to the chief financial officer.

Her husband retired in 2007 from the accounting department at WCI Steel.

The couple were married Aug. 28, 1965, at St. Columba Cathedral in Youngstown. They are members of Boardman United Methodist Church.
