YSU defeats Robert Morris 21-14 in OT

The Youngstown State football team defeated Robert Morris 21-14 in overtime in Saturday's game at Stambaugh Stadium.

Hunter Wells hit I'tavious Harvin with a 2-yard TD pass in the first overtime and YSU's defense held on during RMU's possession.

Ramses Owens scored on a 41-yard TD run for the Colonials in the opening minute. YSU finally tied it on Martin Ruiz's 1-yard TD run in the third quarter.

Owens' second TD covered 10 yards, making it 14-7 early in the fourth. But YSU answered with a 1-yard TD pass from Hunter Wells to TE Shane Kuhn on fourth-and-goal to tie it with 7 minutes left.
