Yellow Brick Place was founded by Donna Detwiler of North Lima and Anna Aey of Canfield. These two cancer survivors have made it their mission to dedicate themselves to helping people who suffer from cancer by providing resources to lead them to fulfilling and self-directed lives.

Yellow Brick Place supports and educates cancer patients and those closest to them by providing individual and group services in Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana counties. Its purpose is to nourish and comfort patients’ minds, bodies and spirits during their fight against cancer. Yellow Brick Place also provides a hopeful environment for cancer patients, families and caregivers. All services are free of charge and are non-medical.

At Yellow Brick Place, there is “No Place Like Hope.” The 501-c (3) non-profit organization is committed to the mission that not one cancer patient, survivor, caregiver or family member will face the cancer journey alone.
