Boil alert lifted for some Girard residents

GIRARD — A boil alert has been lifted for Girard residents living along West Liberty Street from Marshall Road to Salt Springs Road. Officials issued the alert Tuesday after a water main break. It is now safe for residents to drink water before boiling it first, city officials said.
