Junior varsity cross country starts off strong

The Boardman boys junior varsity cross country team placed first at Suburban League Meet 1 with 38 points.

Boardman volleyball beats Springfield 3-0

The Boardman High School volleyball team defeated Springfield Local in three straight sets in the Aug. 31 match up, with the scores of 26-24, 25-20 and 25-15. Leaders for the Spartans were Krista Johnson with nine kills, eight digs and two aces, Katie Platt with 25 assists and two aces, Courtney Platt with 11 digs and four aces and Haley Blangero with four kills and three aces. Their record is now 2-2 overall and 0-1 in the AAC.
