Taser subdues Ohio man after he bit officer, resisted arrest
CINCINNATI (AP) — Police say officers subdued a suburban Cincinnati man with a stun gun after he was seen running around naked and later tried to steal a car.
Officers were called to the scene on Abington Drive in Springfield Township around 3 p.m. Tuesday.
Police say 24-year-old Jordn Miller, clothed by the time officers arrived, kicked officers as they tried to remove him from a Jeep he was stealing.
Sgt. Eric East says officers described Miller, believed to be under the influence of drugs, as having “super human strength.”
Police say Miller bit an officer in the calf before the stun gun was deployed. Paramedics transported Miller to Summa Akron City Hospital.
Amanda Weatherholt told Northeast Ohio Media Group that her fiance is bipolar and hadn’t slept since taking methamphetamine Sunday night.
