Local company to be featured on Fox Business Network

Brainard Rivet Co. of Girard will be featured in an infomercial on the Fox Business Network today.

Brainard Rivet Co. is an employee-owned, cold-headed fastener manufacturer located at 222 Harry St. The company’s two-minute segment will be broadcast between 8:30 and 8:44 p.m.

The video will highlight the company’s dedication to quality, customer service and on-time delivery, according to a press release issued by the company Wednesday.

On Friday, the company will launch a new face to its website: brainardrivet.com.

The company has 35 employees and has been in operation since 1916.

Brainard Rivet produces print-specific fasteners in steel and a variety of nonferrous materials primarily for the distribution industry, including automotive market suppliers.

The company’s 55,000- square-foot facility sits on 11 acres in the city.

The facility, equipment and processes were all purchased by Brainard from Camcar/Textron in May 1998. Brainard Rivet is a subsidiary of Fastener Industries of Berea.
