Golf team spots and sponsorships open

VIENNA

There are a few team spots available in the 18th Annual Animal Welfare League Golf Classic on Friday at Avalon Squaw Creek Country Club, 761 Youngstown-Kingsville Road S.E. Sponsorships also are available. Call 330-539-5300.

Registration begins at 11 a.m., lunch will be provided and the shotgun start will be at noon. O’Charley’s will serve dinner beginning with an open bar at 6 p.m. There will be skill and tournament prizes, 50-50 raffles and a hole-in-one wins a new car.

Basket auction items include Professional Golf Association merchandise autographed by Jason Kokrak, a live auction featuring Full Family Avalon Membership, Ohio State football game tickets and tickets for the Cleveland Cavaliers basketball game.

All proceeds will support the Animal Welfare League.
