Girard man pleads not guilty to domestic-violence charge

GIRARD — Dakota Frantz, 23, of Girard, entered a not-guilty plea to a charge of domestic violence during his arraignment today in Girard Municipal Court.

According to a police report, officers arrested Frantz early Thursday morning after a 27-year old woman told them Frantz had hit her, kicked her, pushed her to the ground and attempted to take her cellphone.

The report says the woman had small bruises on her knees. Frantz’s pretrial hearing has been set for Sept. 23.
