The list-makers at wallethub.com are at it again. This week, they ranked 2015’s Best Cities for Sports Fans. The critieria they used to assess each city is to involved to summarize in a succinct way, except to say that its focused on the sports spectator who likes to watch his team in person (not on television). Here is the top 5 (FYI, Youngstown finished No. 266 out of 341):

v Boston: Home of the NFL champion Patriots.

v Denver: The mile-high city is a surprising hockey hotbed.

v East Lansing, Mich.: The home of Michigan State University.

v Pittsburgh: In a breakdown by sport, the Steel City was ranked first for hockey, second for baseball and third for football.

v Washington, D.C.: The nation’s capitol is actually a distant fifth, far below Pittsburgh.

“Extant” (9 p.m., CBS): Season 2 concludes.

“Home Free” (9 p.m., Fox): Season 1 concludes.

“The League” (10 p.m., FXX): Season 7 (the sitcom’s last) begins.

“Last Comic Standing” (10 p.m., NBC): The final five jokesters face off on “Last Comic Standing,” but only the funniest one will walk away with the crown and a TV show development deal.

“You’re the Worst” (10:30 P.M., FXX): One of last year’s best comedies returns for Season 2 as our caustic lovebirds Jimmy (Chris Geere) and Gretchen (Aya Cash) try to keep their relationship alive while living together.
