Pa. woman accused of setting man on fire ordered to trial

MECHANICSBURG, Pa. (AP) — A woman accused of tying a man to a bed, dousing him with a flammable substance and setting him on fire has been ordered to stand trial.

Christina Leach, 27, of Harrisburg is charged in Cumberland County with aggravated assault, arson, theft and criminal attempt at criminal homicide.

PennLive.com reports that a district judge ruled today that there was enough evidence to send the case to county court.

Police in Silver Spring Township said the man told them the woman offered to give him a massage in May, then tied him to the bed and lit him on fire.

He managed to free himself and jumped out a second-story window. Leach was later arrested in Harrisburg in a work van reported stolen from the home.
