Campbell cops arrest man for rape

Police arrested Wilbert A. Patterson, 54, of Youngstown, on Sunday on a first-degree felony rape charge. Officers responded to Jean Street after a grandmother reported that Patterson had raped her grandson. The alleged victim is under 13 years old, according to a media release. Police arrested Patterson following a field investigation, according to the release. The investigation continues.
