Boil-water alert issued for some Girard residents

GIRARD — A water main break reported today resulted in a boil alert for Girard residents who live along West Liberty Street between Salt Springs and Marshall Road.

Until further notice, residents are advised to boil water before drinking it or using it to cook, according to the Trumbull County Sanitary Engineer's office.
