BINGO/CARD PARTIES

Austintown Eagles 3298 Ladies Auxiliary, 1655 S. Raccoon Road, will host a bingo and card party from 1 to 4 p.m. Sept. 20. Proceeds will benefit the Spinal Muscular Atrophy organization’s Cure SMA. The cost is $5 and includes lunch and a door prize ticket; bingo cards are $1 each. There also will be a basket raffle.

FLEA MARKETS

Saxon Club, 710 S. Meridian Road, Austintown, will host a flea market from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday and each Tuesday into October, weather permitting. Vendors can set up early in the large spaces, which cost $5 each. Refreshments are available.

Helping Hands Closet at Western Reserve United Methodist Church, 4580 Canfield Road, Canfield, has new and gently used clothes for the entire family. New for fall (green tickets not included) is a large number of Abercrombie & Fitch and American Eagle items for young men. September clearance is $1 each item. The hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. each Tuesday.

Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 4500 Norquest Blvd., Austintown, will have its annual Trunk & Book Sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday in the church parking lot. The cost is $10 per space. OCCHA, 3660 Shirley Road, Youngstown, will have a rummage sale from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. Clothes, toys, books, home decor, housewares, electronics, games, puzzles, pillows and lamps will be for sale. Proceeds benefit OCCHA educational programs, which serve the Hispanic and multicultural community. For information call 330-781-1808.

Ohltown United Methodist Church, 2001 Ohltown Road, Austintown, will have a trash and treasure sale and bake sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 19. Chili and kraut hot dogs and homemade pies will be for sale. A carryout chili sale at $6 a quart will also be available. The church is handicapped accessible.
