Woman injured in Friday accident has died, police say

A police spokesman said Monday a woman who was injured in an accident on a state Route 711 ramp Friday has died over the weekend.

The spokesman said the woman’s name is not yet being released because the Mahoning County Coroner’s office is trying to find her next of kin.

The woman was injured in an accident about 6 p.m. after an SUV she was driving flipped over several times on an entrance ramp for Interstate 680 north and she was ejected from the vehicle.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
