Charges pending in Farmington Township wreck, state patrol says

WEST FARMINGTON

The Southington post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating after a woman was seriously injured in a one-vehicle crash about 12:45 p.m. Monday on Hoffman Norton Road.

Reports said Amanda Cole, 34, of Farmington, was driving north on Hoffman Norton Road when she went off the side of the road and flipped the vehicle over after hitting a ditch.

Cole was ejected and taken to St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital with serious injuries, the patrol said. A passenger, Jodi Bowen, 61, also of Farmington, was able to crawl out of the wreckage and was taken to St. Joseph Warren Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

A news release from the patrol said charges are pending.
