Weekend trip marks 60th for Manions

BROOKFIELD

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Manion of Brookfield celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary during a family weekend at their daughter’s lakefront home on Norris Lake in Tennessee.

The weekend was hosted by their children, Cindi Manion Haney of Columbus and Jeff and Diane Manion of Hubbard, and six grandchildren, Andrew, Jay and Brad Haney and Carly, Casey and Emily Manion.

The former Naomi Shoff and Mr. Manion exchanged marriage vows Aug. 27, 1955, in Brookfield United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Manion retired from Brookfield Local Schools.

Mr. Manion retired from General American Transportation Corp.
