Quarterback Jake Cummings ran for two touchdowns and passed for 53 yards as the Cardinals (1-1) won Friday’s suspended game.

Cummings scored on runs covering 1 and 45 yards. Jared Clark (9 yards), Dave Crawford (4 yards) and Paul Breinz (5 yards) also had touchdown runs.

For the Aviators, Aeyeon Williams found DJ Hancock for a 10-yard touchdown pass and Howard Fraziers scored on an 80-yard run.

University School 43, East 28

HUNTING VALLEY

The Preppers (1-1) beat the Panthers (0-2) for the second straight season. A year ago, University School beat East at Rayen Stadium, 15-14.

Southern quarterback Gabe Richards rushed for 135 yards on 17 carries and scored three touchdowns. His scoring runs covered 51, 6 and 27 yards, and he also returned a kicoff 60 yards for a touchdown. Dakota McClurg scored the Indians’ other touchdown. Southern ran the ball 53 times for 389 yards.
