Mr., Mrs. Kapics observe 50th anniversary

YOUNGSTOWN

Mr. and Mrs. Ron Kapics of Youngstown were honored at a dinner party Aug. 6 at the Iron Bridge restaurant, Mercer, Pa., on the occasion of their golden wedding anniversary. Their children gave them a vacation at Belhurst Castle in Geneva, N.Y.

The former Jane Hvisdak and Mr. Kapics exchanged marriage vows Sept. 11, 1965, at Holy Rosary Church in Lowellville.

Their children and their spouses are Jeffrey and Stephanie Kapics of Austintown, Thomas and Sheree Kapics of Las Vegas, and Michael and Sheila Kapics of Poland. The family circle also includes six grandchildren.

Mrs. Kapics is a deputy clerk at Mahoning County Probate Court.

Her husband retired in 2013. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps.

The couple are members of St. Christine Church.
