12 — Third annual Jim “King Louie” Hlinka Benefit Golf Outing at Lakeside Golf Course. Shotgun start at 9 a.m. Entry fee is $75 per player and inluces greens fees, cart, breakfast at 8 a.m., lunch, dinner, beverages, skins, golf towel, door prizes and Chinese auction. 12 — Answer to Cancer, supporting the Joanie Abdu Comprehensive Breast Care Center, at Bedford Trails Golf Course. The event is in memory of Irene Nock and Joe Pollock. Cost is $60 per person. Shotgun start at 8 a.m. There will be a closest to the pin contest, hole prizes, door prizes and a buffet lunch. Call 330-536-2234 for more information.

14 — Tippecanoe Golf Classic at Tippecanoe Country Club. The event is a fundraiser for Hospice of the Valley. Registration at 11 a.m., shotgun start at noon, cocktails in the clubhouse at 5 p.m. and dinner, auction and skill prizes awardsed at 5:30 p.m. Cost is $500 per foursome, $125 for single golfers and $40 for dinner only.
