Authorities say a 5-year-old boy has been killed in a drive-by shooting in Cleveland.
The Northeast Ohio Media Group reports that Ramon Burnett is the third child shot in the city in a drive-by this week.
Police say Ramon was playing outside on the city’s East Side on Friday evening when he was shot in the chest. He died later at MetroHealth Medical Center.
Detective Jennifer Ciaccia says police are questioning two men to determine if they had a role in the shooting.
Two other children were shot on the city’s East Side on Tuesday night. A 13-year-old and a 15-year-old were seriously wounded in that drive-by, which occurred in the parking lot of a convenience store.
