Funeral home offers support group series

Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home will host a series of Grief Recovery Instructional Support Groups (GRIPS) starting at 7 p.m. Sept. 15 at the care center located next to the funeral home, 709 N. Main St.

The groups are offered to anyone struggling following the death of a loved one, and are facilitated by pastoral grief counselor Philip Roland.

After the completion of the 10-week program, participants will enter a secondary group that will meet twice each month. This extension of the instructional group will help participants rebuild their lives over a long period.

The groups are open to anyone who has suffered a loss. There is no cost or obligation to attend.
