Krista Johnson led the Spartans (3-2, 1-1 AAC) with 15 kills, 17 digs and four aces and Hayley Eicher added nine kills and two blocks. Amber McMillan (six kills, five blocks), Katie Platt (31 assists, six kills, six aces) and Courtney Platt (16 digs, three aces) also contributed to Boardman’s victory. Cassie Murcko led the Tigers (4-3, 0-2) with 15 kills, Lexi Miner had 20 assists, Erin Puskas had five points and Kara Rushin added five digs.

Canfield 25-25-25, Hubbard 17-14-9

Morgan Leonard led trhe Cardinals with 13 points (three aces) and Maddy Johns had seven kills, Lara Quirk had six blocks and Emma Hartshorn had 20 assists in a sweep of the Eagles. Hubbard’s Abby Jarvis had eight points, eight digs and five kills and Kristen Fahndrich had seven digs. JV: Canfield, 2-0.

Poland 25-25-27, Edgewood 21-19-25

Jill Penman had nine blocks, eight kills and three points in the Bulldogs’ sweep of the Warriors. Cordray Sundstrom had 10 kills, seven points and four and Logan Kountz had 10 kills and three ponts. JV: Poland, 2-0

Heartland 25-22-25-25, Ursuline 10-25-16-23

Bonnie Flynn led the Lions with 30 kills, 23 digs, 17 points and three aces in a four-game victory over the Irish. Alanna Holden added 17 points, nine kills, eight aces and eight assists and Brianna LaRocca had 26 assists and three kills. Ursuline was led by Lindsay Bell (13 kills, three blocks), Julianna Kratzer (21 digs, 11 points) and Bethany Rios (19 assists, nine points).

Lakeview 26-25-21-25, Fitch 24-12-25-13

Taylor Casassa had 10 points and two aces, Jensen Silbaugh had 17 kills and 18 digs and Laney Lytle had 23 assists to lead Lakeview. Shelby Bundy had nine points and four aces and Sarah Obradovich had 11 kills and 15 digs and Bree Hunter had 14 assists for Fitch. JVs: Lakeview 25-21, 20-25, 25-20.

Girard 13-19-27-25-15, Ashtabula Lakeside 25-25-25-20-13

McKayla Trebella had 14 kills, 15 digs and 11 points for Girard (2-1, 1-1 AAC Red). Madie Delbene added 10 points and four aces and Sydney Teter had 13 kills and one block. Lakeside is 0-4, 0-4.

Jefferson 25-25-25, Struthers 14-10-12

Emily DeGeorge had 20 kills and Katie Chaney had 19 points for the Falcons. Abby Hughes led the Wildcats with 10 digs and Torre Smrek had four kills.

Niles 25-23-26-25, East 14-25-26-25

For Niles, Taylor Ziegler had 10 kills and three blocks, Emma Dellinger had seven kills and 16 digs and Gabby Miller had 16 points, six kills and five digs for Niles (2-4). Honay Ingram had three kills, three aces and two blocks, Taylor Whitfield had two kills, one block and one ace and Jo’Vohna Hughes had two kills for East. JVs: Niles 25-13, 25-11.

Newton Falls 25-25-25, Brookfield 16-19-16

Kate Wainwright powered the unbeaten Tigers (7-0) with 16 points, 25 assists and 13 digs, while Olivia Hedge (14 points), Autumn Hutson (19 digs), Kayla Barreca (11 kills) and Izzy Kline (five blocks) also helped Newton Falls stay perfect. Kenzie and Bailey Drapola each had nine kills for the Warriors, Katie Bender had 22 assists and Cailee Evans had 10 digs. Bailey Drapola led Brookfield with five points. JV: Newton Falls, 2-0.

Liberty 25-25-25, Campbell 11-13-16

Lana Adi had 51 assists and 10 digs, Allie Adler had 16 kills and seven digs and Marcy Dykes had 11 aces and five kills for Liberty.

Southern 25-21-25-25, Springfield 19-25-23-12

Hannah Brothers had 10 points, two aces and 30 assists, Abby Smalley had 13 kills and one block and Lizzie Willis had 10 kills, two blocks, 14 points and five aces for Southern (4-1, 3-0). For Springfield, Kasey Kohler had 11 kills and three blocks, Quinn Crowe had nine kills and Lindsay Druschel had five points and 37 assists. JV: Springfield 17-25, 25-16, 27-25.

Macey Garland had 42 digs, one ace, two assists, four kills and two blocks, Anna Bodo had 32 digs and three kills and Madison O’Malley had 17 digs and three kills for the Rams (1-5).

Lisbon 25-25-25, Sebring 16-15-22

For Lisbon (4-1), Kimmi Wiggers had 16 kills, three aces and 11 digs, Taylor Siefke had nine kills, three blocks, six digs and three aces and Emily Steves had 16 digs, five kills and three aces. For Sebring, Madi Kreitzer had four digs, two kills, eight points and four aces. Lydia Good had five digs, four kills, five points and one ace. Murphy Flowers had six digs, 24 sets, seven assists, four kills, four points and two aces. JV: Lisbon 25-12, 25-10.

Brooke Harper had seven kills, two blocks, five aces, five digs and 15 points for the Rebels (2-2). Ali Smith added nine points, while MacKenzie Daub and Emily Emch each had six kills. JV: Crestview 25-17, 25-15.

Maria Shivers had 12 kills and four blocks and Kacey Costal added 10 kills, five blocks and five aces for the Quakers. Dori Miller added six aces and five digs. JV: Carrollton, 2-1.

LaBrae 25-25-25, Champion 12-11-21

Haley Davies had 12 points and Miranda Dodrill had 11 kills and five aces as the Vikings beat the Golden Flashes. Allie Middleton had 25 assists, Haylie Kiser had eight digs and Amanda Reppart had four blocks for LaBrae (5-1, 1-0 AAC). Champion (0-5, 0-1) was led by Summer Fassnacht (10 points, 14 assists, five aces, two blocks), Ashley Naylor (13 digs) and Morgan Tenney (five kills). JV: LaBrae, 2-0

Whitney Wallace had nine points, four kills and 19 digs, Claire Smith had three blocks and Kaylee Manning had 17 digs for the Warriors (6-2, 1-1 Northeastern Buckeye Conference). Louisville is 4-0, 2-0. JV: Louisville 25-12, 25-5.

Ahmed El Kahfif had two goals, while Mike Myers and Chris Perry each added a goal and an assist. Nicholas Koken also scored and Paul Graziano had two assists. Ethan Watson made eight saves and Jake Balest had three for Mooney (2-1-1), while Brian Sharp had two saves for JFK (2-2-1).

Mineral Ridge 1, Crestview 0

Senior Bryce Porter scored for the Rams (4-0) on a header off a corner kick by Trey Richards. The game was called at halftime due to thunderstorms.

Heartland Christian 1, Columbiana 1

Daniel Brandenstein scored for Heartland (0-1-3) and Ben Burgess made six saves in a game that was called after the first half due to lightning. Diego Villatoro scored on a penalty kick for the Clippers.
