Tri-Gold Chapter of American Business Women’s Association will meet Wednesday at A La Cart Catering in Canfield. There will be a social at 5:30 p.m. and dinner at 6. The meal will be a choice of creamed chicken over biscuit with peas, carrots and a tossed salad or a baked pork chop with mashed potatoes and gravy, applesauce, rolls and butter, coffee, tea and dessert. Mahoning Valley Stamp Club will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday at Highway Tabernacle, 3000 S. Raccoon Road, Austintown. The club meets the second Thursday of each month.

Newcomers Club of Canfield will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the home of Tamara Sigler. The evening’s theme is “Friend in a Minute,” and guests will learn more about old friends in a speed dating style. Take an appetizer and wine to share, and other beverages will be provided. Youngstown Section of the National Council of Negro Women will have its monthly meeting Sept. 12 at the McGuffey Centre, 1649 Jacobs Road, Youngstown.
