1 shot at Sacramento College this afternoon

Police say Sacramento City College is on lockdown while officers search for a suspect in a shooting that injured one person near the campus.

Sacramento police say the adult victim was shot this afternoon and was taken to a hospital in unknown condition.

It was not immediately clear how close to the campus the shooting occurred, but classrooms and offices are on lockdown while police create a perimeter and search for the suspect.
