Three weapons taken from West Side Youngstown home

YOUNGSTOWN

Reports said three weapons were taken from a West Side home overnight Sunday.

Police were called to a home in the 1600 block of Sillimanite Street about 3:35 p.m. Tuesday, where a woman who lives there told officers she stayed overnight at another home and when she returned home about 12 p.m. Monday, she noticed the electric meter was taken and a side door kicked in.

Inside the house was ransacked and a television was taken, as well as a wedding dress and two pistols and a .22-caliber rifle with a 15-round clip and a scope attached.
