A New Castle, Pa., man was arraigned Monday on a felony rape charge after an incident early Sunday in Lake Milton.

Lee T. Mosley, 35, of New Castle, Pa., was arraigned on a first-degree felony charge of rape in Mahoning County Area Court here. The accuser is a teenage girl.

His bond was set at $250,000 cash or surety. He is in the Mahoning County jail and will be back in court for a preliminary hearing at 9 a.m. Wednesday and will have court-appointed counsel.

According to a Milton Township police report, authorities were called to the Green Acres Lake Park campground on Creed Road in Diamond about 4 a.m. Sunday. Mosley purportedly fled the campground, and authorities were able to track him down and arrest him early Sunday along the Ohio Turnpike.

“Green Acres is a very popular place,” said Charles VanDyke, Milton Township police chief. “This is an unusual event for us out here. We get our fair share of traffic, but as far as serious crime, we’re usually pretty quiet.”
