Embalming fluid, instruments taken from South Side funeral home

YOUNGSTOWN — Reports said embalming fluid and instruments were taken from a South Side funeral home overnight Sunday.

Employees at Family Funeral Services, 75 E. Midlothian Blvd., told officers they reported to work at 8 a.m. and found a back door unlocked.

Reports said a business manager told police he thinks someone hid in the building overnight, took the items and left.

Other valuables, such as televisions and computers, were left untouched, reports said.
