Task force announces two OVI checkpoints in Canfield next weekend

CANFIELD — The Mahoning County Operating a Vehicle while Impaired Task Force is conducting two sobriety checkpoints in Canfield next weekend.

Details will be released next week as to the specific checkpoint locations.

There will also be local saturation patrols throughout Mahoning County next week and the weekend.

Support in operating the upcoming sobriety checkpoint and saturation patrols are provided by participating agencies of the task force – the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the Ohio Department of Transportation and the Mahoning County Emergency Management Agency.
