Art Exhibition
Friday to Jan. 10: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
What: 14th International Exhibition of Botanical Art and Illustration. The Hunt Institute of Pittsburgh brings the work of 35 botanical documentation artists from around the world to the Weller Gallery. Botanical art depicts plant portraits, both visually pleasing and botanically accurate. These works are part of the permanent record of the Hunt Institute for Botanical Documentation.

ROCKY MOUNTAIN PHOTOS
Sunday: 2 to 3:30 p.m.
What: Join Dr. Chuck McClaugherty for a photographic trip through the front range and western slope of the Rocky Mountains with a focus on the geology and ecology of the unique places he visited during a three-week expedition this summer. No registration required.

CAMERA WORKSHOP
Nov. 8: 2 to 4 p.m.
What: Remote cameras, also known as game cameras, are an increasingly popular tool for learning about and discovering the presence of shy, nocturnal, and rare wildlife. Learn about selecting and using remote cameras to monitor wildlife on your property. Portions of the workshop will be indoors and outdoors. Participants should be prepared for exploration on and off trail. Registration required.

MASTER GARDENERS
Nov. 18: 9:30 a.m. to noon
What: Coffee with a master gardener volunteer. Join our decor guru, Margaret, as she helps you understand design and materials for turning your outdoor containers into holiday displays. She’ll cover indoor arrangements as well. Participants can bring up to a 12-inch container. Materials and greenery provided.
