Ohio man pleads guilty in attempted drug robbery at house
ANDERSON TOWNSHIP, Ohio (AP) — A suburban Cincinnati man who authorities say tried to rob the wrong house on a search for drugs pleaded guilty to robbery and other offenses.
David Morad entered the plea Monday in a Hamilton County court. It calls for him to serve six years and eight months in prison.
Authorities say the 18-year-old Anderson Township man is linked to at least five robberies or robbery plots.
Police say Morad planned to break into the home, which he thought had drugs and money. He allegedly planned to tie up the victims and force them to reveal where the items were stashed. Authorities said a hatchet, duct tape and other items were found in his waistband.
Police say his sister identified the wrong house.
He is scheduled for sentencing Nov. 19.
