Shawn J. Graham, 17, of Kirk Road in Youngstown, was arrested about 3:30 p.m. Friday on a charge of trafficking in marijuana within the vicinity of a school, a fourth-degree felony, and issued a citation for a traffic-control device.

According to a police report, a gold Chevrolet Impala ran a red light going southbound on Southern Boulevard at Indianola Road that almost caused a crash. That person was stopped at Southern Boulevard and Meadowbrook Avenue, which is within 1,000 feet of school property.

A search was done of the vehicle and four bags of suspected marijuana were found under the driver’s seat and one of those bags contained 18 individually wrapped bags of marijuana.

A bag of 18 pills was found in the center console of the vehicle, a police report said.
