A summary of police activity in the city of Canfield and Austintown:

CANFIELD

Oct. 3

Dog running loose: Sonoa Uzoho, 48, of Brookpark Drive was cited for dogs running loose, and Oct. 13 for violation of annual registration of a dog and dangerous and vicious dogs to be registered.

Oct. 14

Drug paraphernalia: Phillip Sword, 45, of Meridian Road, Youngstown, was arrested on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.

AUSTINTOWN

Oct. 12

Theft: Ashley Hayes, 29, of Berkshire Drive, Warren, and Bradley Shafer, 38, of Erie St., Cortland, were arrested involving a theft of $40 in merchandise at Walmart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

Burglary: A home was entered by a male suspect at a home in the 5000 block of New Road.

Auto theft: A 2006 Chevrolet Impala was stolen at Super 8 Motel, 5280 Seventy-Six Drive.

Theft: Two males took food at Rulli Brothers, 4331 Kirk Road.

Menacing by stalking: Adults reported stalking via social media at a home in the 2000 block of Penny Lane.

Theft: A chain saw and air compressor were stolen from a home in the 5000 block of Madrid Drive.

Oct. 13

Theft: A debit card was stolen from a purse at a home in the 20 block of Idlewood Road.

Fraud: Unauthorized charges were made to an account at a home in the 1000 block of Eastwind Place.

Menacing: A female was threatened at a home in the 200 block of Idlewood Road.

Felonious assault: Conflicting stories emerged over a felonious assault at Kirk Road and South Turner Road.

Oct. 14

Warrant: Christopher Davis, 31, of Vermont Avenue Northwest, Warren, was arrested on a warrant for theft by deception.

Theft: Money from a charity jar was stolen at BP Fast Trac, 5502 Mahoning Ave.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle was damaged at Club 76, 5335 Seventy-Six Drive.

Theft: A daughter-in-law took items after being told to move out at a home in the 6000 block of Kirk Road.

Oct. 15

Motorcycle theft: A 2008 Harley-Davidson sportster was stolen at Mike’s Lounge, 5532 Mahoning Ave.

Criminal trespassing: A female gained entry without permission at a home in the 4000 block of Nantucket Boulevard.

Oct. 16

Theft: Mail was reported stolen at a home in the 4000 block of Deer Creek Court.

Fraud: Gift cards were used fraudulently at Instant Cash and Gold for Diamonds, 4774 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: $10 in fuel was stolen at BP Fast Trac, 3602 Mahoning Ave.

Oct. 17

Drug offense: Jeffrey Brozman, 55, of South Maryland Ave., Youngstown, was arrested and charged with obstructing official business, resisting arrest and possession of pills. Thomas Krichbaum, 52, of South Meridian Road, was arrested on a charge of possession of cocaine.

Theft: A cellphone was taken by a male at Austintown Fitch High School, 4560 Falcon Drive.

Oct. 18

Disorderly conduct: Robert Roth, 28, of Cleveland, was issued a summons involving disorderly conduct at the Austintown Plaza, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: Tracy Blue, 51, of Tod Avenue, Lordstown, was issued a summons involving theft of $30 of merchandise at Walmart.

Warrant: Trenton McGaha, 22, of North Yorkshire Boulevard, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on a traffic violation.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle was damaged with beer bottles at a home in the 4000 block of Signature Circle.

Theft: Rufus Bly, 51, of Norfolk, Va., was arrested and charged with stealing a package of underwear valued at $11.22 at Walmart.

Theft: Genevieve Davis, 52, of Eigen Street, was arrested on charges of possessing criminal tools and theft of $54 in merchandise at Marc’s, 4755 Mahoning Ave.

Aggravated menacing: There is a suspect in menacing at a home in the 3000 block of Eigen Street.
