Mr., Mrs. Bobby celebrate golden event

The 50th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Emil Bobby of Struthers was marked during a Mass Oct. 17 at Holy Trinity Church of Christ Our Savior Parish, where they are members.

A dinner followed in the lower church hall, where the former Ann Granchie and Mr. Bobby were honored at their original wedding reception when they were married Oct. 16, 1965.

The family, who hosted the events, includes children and spouses, Lisa and Sam Jackson of Poland and Melissa and Anthony Zuccaro of Kingsville, Ohio, and five grandchildren.

Mrs. Bobby was a sales associate at Sears at the Southern Park Mall in Boardman for many years. She is a member of Infant Jesus of Prague Guild, a pirogi worker at Holy Trinity, First Catholic Slovak Ladies Association 156 and Homemakers Bowling League.

Her husband retired from LTV Steel in instrument repair and from Struthers Waste Water Treatment Plant, where he was head of maintenance. He is a member of Jednota FCSU. He served in the U.S. Army.
