Golden event celebrated by the Reedys

AUSTINTOWN

Mr. and Mrs. George Reedy of Austintown observed their 50th wedding anniversary during a dinner party Oct. 24 at Spread Eagle Tavern in Hanoverton. The couple also celebrated on a South Pacific cruise in the spring.

Their children are George A. (Sandy) Reedy of Hendersonville, N.C.; and Lori (Joe) Scala of McDonald. Two granchildren, Ryan and Leah Scala, complete the family.

The former Diane Gilliland and Mr. Reedy were married Oct. 30, 1965, in St. Mary Church, Bordentown, N.J.

Mrs. Reedy is a retired insurance agent.

Mr. Reedy retired from Delphi Automotive as a draftsman in 2004. He served with the U.S. Air Force from 1961-65.
