Obstetrician/gynecologist Dr. Rodney E. Hill, owner of Associates in Women’s Health of the Mahoning Valley Inc., recently demonstrated a mock hysterectomy for students at the American National University Youngstown Campus.

Dr. Hill provided the demonstration for teaching purposes during a hysterectomy surgical assistant class.

Before opening of Associates in Women’s Health of the Mahoning Valley Inc. in 2005, Dr. Hill was medical director of the Women’s Care Center in Warren for seven years, where he supervised OB/GYN services.

He received his undergraduate degree from Virginia State University, his medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School, and completed his residency training at Howard University Hospital in Washington, D.C.

With more than 15 years of experience as an OB/GYN doctor, Dr. Hill provides services including birth-control management, comprehensive prenatal management, baby delivery and postnatal management. Ultrasounds are available on-site.

He treats polycystic ovarian syndrome, a leading cause of infertility; chronic pelvic pain, and osteoporosis and menopause.
