Kiev orchestra, chorus in concert at church

The Kiev (Ukraine) Symphony Orchestra and Chorus (KSOC) will perform at Tower Presbyterian Church, 248 S. Broad St., at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

The concert will include Slavic a cappella, sacred classics, hymns, spirituals, instrumental chamber music, and Ukrainian sacred and folk music. A free-will offering will be taken for Music Mission Kiev, which supports widows, orphans and Crimean refugees.

Tickets are $10 (free for children and students) at the door. For information, call 724-458-9215. Free parking is available in the lots at the intersection of Main and Broad streets; on the Walnut Street side of East Main Presbyterian Church; and on Poplar Street, near the football stadium.
